WHAT HAPPENED?
I’m not sure how to explain it, but maybe this will help. Slowly, one by one, church members found something they preferred over what was scheduled and they stopped attending. Then as attendance dwindled it was decided to drop that service. Then one after another, ever so slowly, year after year, the services were dropped until we arrived where we are. That’s the way most people like it! Remember– when you refuse to attend a service you are voting to discontinue it.
