We sing “There is no God like Jehovah” and indeed that is true– in fact there is no true God but Jehovah. He is the superlative God. He is bigger, better, higher, and greater than all others. God is in a class by Himself. There is none like Him. He is the only true and living God. We cannot think nor speak too highly or too often of Him. In Him we live, move, and have our being.
It is impossible to over estimate His goodness, over exaggerate His greatness, over emphasize His grace, over evaluate His guidance, or over exult His glory.
God’s grace is immeasurable
mercy is inexhaustible
love is indescribable
goodness is incredible
compassion is inconceivable
blessings are incomparable
gifts are invaluable
greatness is incalculable
holiness is imperishable
character is impeccable
glory is ineffable
majesty is imponderable
power is invincible
faithfulness is immutable
decrees are immovable
kingdom is interminable
righteousness is indispensable
children are inseparable
ways are incomprehensible
will is infallible
word is indestructible
peace is inexpressible
presence is inspirational
God longs for our love, orders our obedience, commands our consecration, demands our dedication, and deserves our devotion.
We should know Him intimately, love Him wholeheartedly, trust Him completely, worship Him sincerely, serve Him faithfully, speak of Him passionately, praise Him constantly, and pray to Him continually.–HDS, 9/30/16
