People depend on a lot of different things to bring them good luck in the New Year. It is a tradition to eat black-eyed peas and cabbage in most homes and since I love both I kinda like that, but some folks take it too far. One fellow said,”On New Year’s Eve I found a four-leaf clover in a patch of poison ivy, and now I’m waiting for a rash of good luck” Good luck buddy, but you better be careful about what you wish for! Let me make this simple,having a happy new year isn’t luck–“…whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.”–Proverbs 16:20
