WHAT TO DO IN 2022
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ” 2 Cor. 5:20 ( read vs.14-21)

Having entered a new year, causes many to wonder, “What do we do in 2022?” Here’s the answer, We should do what we should have done in 2021. Which is what we should do until our life is through. And as Christians there should be no doubt as to how we should live. We are to discover the will of God and do it. That’s success!

None of us have the right to live as we please. Bought by the blood of Christ, we belong to God and it is our duty to do as He demands (1 Cor. 6:19-20). Sadly most people read those words and then proceed to do as they please rather than giving God what He deserves, desires , and demands. And in our folly we deprive ourselves of great blessings, sure rewards, a clear conscience, and a good testimony.

Such people don’t realize that we are never pleased by living as we please.Fact is, we don’t have the ability to know what is best for us apart from God. Jer. 10:23 says, “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”. It is only as we are directed by the Lord that we can walk safely and find satisfaction.

So let me leave you with a reminder of what we ought to do in 2022. It’s found in 2 Cor. 5:14-21 which reminds us that we are “ambassadors for Christ” ( 2 Cor. 5:20). That is a work that should never be denied, delayed, or deserted. It is of such great importance that it deserves our very best effort at all times. Doing that is a life well lived. -HDS
