THINK ABOUT IT            10-10-23

Here we go again. If it isn’t one thing it’s another. There is always something to distract us from our God given mission.In this case it is the war against Israel. Although the average American knows there is a war going on they have no idea as to what it is really about, nor the players in it, the seriousness of it, nor America’s role in it. We need to be wiser than that. We need to be well informed.

However, we must be careful that we don’t allow this or anything else to distract us from our God given mission (Matt.28:19-20). I mention this because although there is a need to be informed, beyond prayer there is little that we can do. Rather than stay glued to the TV watching for updates and getting depressed, we need to focus on the commission Christ gave to His church.

Rather than hitting the streets to protest the war or to argue with those who do we would do much better if we spent our time spreading the gospel of Christ. God help us to keep first things first. Are you? How long has it been since you had a serious conversation with someone about their need to be born again? THINK ABOUT IT!
