But there is one area that is often overlooked and that is the subject of prophecy – what the future holds. Although nearly everyone expresses a desire to know what’s going to happen, most discount what the Bible says about it. Some folks worry so much about what they don’t know about the future that they neglect to consider what God tells us about the future.

Whatever the reason for the lack of interest it is a great mistake to ignore it. Pretending something won’t happen doesn’t mean it won’t. Far too many people have the attitude expressed in the song that says,”Que sere, sere. Whatever will be will be. The future’s not ours to see”. Well, if you are talking about who will win the World Series” you are right. But if you are talking about who is going to rule the world you are wrong – that is easy to see.

It all boils down to this, we either believe the Bible or we don’t. If you don’t, I pity you. It’s foolish to ignore all the facts that proves the Bible is a book man could not have written if he would and would not have written if he could. All the evidence proves it was written by Divine inspiration.

If you are a Bible believer I want to encourage you to study the Bible regularly. Not only do you need to study its historical content, you ought to study its prophecies that foretell what lies ahead. Why wouldn’t you?
