MORNING MANNA           3-26-26

MORNING MANNA                 3-26-26
NO FEAR

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭55‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So many changes take place when someone becomes a Christian. One of those changes is the prospect of death. We lose the fear of death. We’re not too excited about the act of dying and not knowing how it will come, but fear of death leaves the scene for the saved.
Jesus willingly gave himself over to dying and death on a cruel cross stained with His blood for not one or two day, but for three days. Then, He broke the binding chains of death, defeated it, arose victorious, walked out of the sepulchre, and left it behind. Death fears Jesus and His unshakeable power now! He won! He lives! Now we live because He lives. We have peace in His promise!
What is the fear level in your life concerning death? If you have never trusted in Jesus Christ to save you, trust Him now and let Him take that fear away.

NO FEAR

MORNING MANNA               3-25-26
GROANINGS OF THE HEART HEARD
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬ ‭

The Christian life is not free from weakness, but rather full of it. We groan under . . .
   the burden of indwelling sin,
   the brokenness of the world,
and the mystery of God’s providence.

Often, we find ourselves overwhelmed–our thoughts confused, our  emotions storm-tossed, our words failing in prayer. Yet even in these frail moments, the believer is not alone. For within him dwells the Spirit of God, the divine Helper, who prays with and for him.

In this verse, we see the intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit, so often overlooked, yet profoundly necessary. The Spirit does not merely assist us when we are strong; He helps us in our “weakness”. He comes alongside us when we do not know what to say. When the burden is too deep for words, when the pain is beyond expression, He intercedes with groanings that reach the heart of the Father. These are not groans of despair, but of holy longing, divinely wrought desires for the will of God, rising from within the soul.

The Spirit’s intercession is continual and unceasing. It is perfectly aligned with God’s will. Unlike our prayers–so often mixed with selfishness or ignorance–His groanings are pure and effective. The Father, who searches hearts, hears not merely the faltering words of His children, but the Spirit’s cry within them. And because the Spirit is God, His intercession always prevails.

What comfort this brings to the struggling saint! Prayer is not a  performance to be perfected, but a dependence to be expressed. Even when we cannot articulate our need, the indwelling Spirit lifts our cries heavenward. We may feel that our prayers are weak, but they are carried by One who cannot fail. Though we stumble in the darkness, the Spirit groans with us, guiding our souls before the throne of grace.

Therefore, do not despair when your words fail. Your great High Priest intercedes in Heaven, and the Spirit intercedes within you. You are upheld by divine prayers. You are never unheard, never forgotten, never left to fend for yourself in the place of prayer. The groans of the Spirit are God’s pledge that your weakness will not hinder His purpose.

“And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭27‬ ‭A. W. Pink

“ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK”

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭

Five loaves and two fishes. Five thousand plus all feasted though they started with five loaves and two fishes!!! There’s no way to explain this other than God performing a miracle. May we pause in amazement at the miracles of our Lord.

May we ponder the miracle in our life. It may have been :

-a miracle in our health

-a miracle recovery after a season in a dark valley

-maybe the reconnecting with a family member you thought would never happen

-… the healing of a marriage when you felt all was lost

-… back on your feet after a financially devastating situation

-… restored to great fellowship with the Lord after a long backslidden season

-how about the miracle of salvation in Jesus Christ knowing that you have been delivered from the penalty of sin and you’re experiencing the peace of having a home in Heaven when life on earth is done?

What has happened in your life that cannot be explained apart from God?
Stop and ponder this, proclaim your testimony to others, and give someone a picture of the true and living God working a miracle in your life. They need to see it! (Psalm 40:3)

Remember these verses right now during whatever it is you’re facing. You may have a guess of what the outcome will be,
but,
“He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think!!!”

LIVE FOR GOD

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭

Scientists once thought that the vertebrate with the shortest life-span was the turquoise killifish. This small fish lives in seasonal rain pools in equatorial Africa and must complete its life cycle in 12 weeks before the pools disappear.

But researchers from James Cook University in Australia have now found that the pygmy goby has an even shorter lifespan. It lives fast and dies young. This tiny fish lives in coral reefs for an average of 56 days. Its rapid reproductive cycle is designed to help it avoid extinction.

What’s the point of a life that goes so fast and ends so quickly? It’s a question asked by one of the wisest men who ever lived. In his later years, Solomon, the third king of Israel, wandered from God. He became spiritually disoriented and lost his sense of direction and purpose. He looked at all of his accomplishments and found them worthless. Until he remembered his God (12:13-14), he forgot that we live not merely for ourselves but for the honor of the One who made us to worship and enjoy Him forever.

Significance is not found in the number of our days, but in what our eternal God says about how we have used them.

God gives to us the gift of time
To use as best we can,
To live each moment in His will
According to His plan. —Sper

Life is short. Live for God.-from Our Daily Bread

CONDITIONS OF CHASTISEMENT

Most all of us have experienced something that left us saying,”This is unfair” or “This was unnecessary”,or This was of no benefit”. Let’s face it, some things just don’t make any sense to our way of thinking. God, however, sees much more than we do and is much wiser than we are. That which seems senseless to us makes perfectly good sense to God. He alone knows what is truly needful. Peter spoke of this when he wrote—“Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temtations.”–1 Peter 1:6 Notice the words,”if need be”. They speak volumes. Listen to what the Scottish preacher John MacDuff wrote regarding this phrase:

Three gracious words! Not one of all my tears has been shed for nothing! Not one stroke of the rod has been unneeded — or might have been spared! Your heavenly Father loves you too much, and too tenderly, to bestow harsher correction than your case requires!

Is it loss of health — or loss of wealth — or loss of beloved friends? Be still! there was a needs be! We are no competent judges of what that “needs be” is; often through aching hearts we are forced to exclaim, “Your judgments are a great deep!” But God here pledges Himself, that there will not be one unnecessary thorn in the believer’s crown of suffering. No burden too heavy will be laid on him; and no sacrifice too great will be exacted from him. He will “temper the wind — to the shorn lamb.”

Whenever the “need be” has accomplished its end — then the rod is removed, the chastisement suspended, and the furnace quenched.

“If need be!” Oh! what a pillow on which to rest your aching head — that there is not a drop in all your bitter cup — but what a God of love saw to be absolutely necessary! Will you not trust His heart — even though you cannot trace the mystery of His dealings? Not too curiously prying into the “WHY it is?” or “HOW it is?” — but satisfied that “SO it is,” and, therefore, that all must be well!- HDS
